Role Overview
We seek an experienced and proactive Business Development Specialist to drive our growth in the hospitality sector. You’ll play a key role in introducing AltoTech’s advanced solutions to hotels across Thailand and beyond. This involves building relationships with key decision-makers, crafting tailored proposals, and effectively demonstrating how our technologies can enhance guest satisfaction, streamline efficiency, and optimize energy management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Building
Identify and engage potential clients, including luxury hotels, boutique hotels, and hotel chains.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners and general managers through regular follow-ups, as well as personalized engagements.
Represent AltoTech at industry events and conferences to expand our network and brand visibility in the hospitality sector.
In-depth Product Knowledge and Presentation
Gain deep knowledge of AltoTech’s product range, especially Alto CERO for Hotel.
Clearly communicate the unique features and benefits of our solutions, focusing on energy optimization and guest experience enhancements.
Deliver impactful product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of each hotel.
Proposal Development
Create compelling, data-driven proposals addressing each client’s unique challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect product capabilities and integration possibilities.
Develop ROI models to clearly illustrate the long-term benefits of AltoTech’s solutions.
Hospitality Market Analysis
Stay informed about trends, technologies, and challenges in the hospitality industry.
Conduct regular competitive analysis to maintain AltoTech’s competitive edge.
Identify emerging opportunities for AltoTech's solutions in different hotel segments and geographical areas.
Client Needs Assessment and Solution Mapping
Evaluate current hotel systems, processes, and pain points.
Work closely with potential clients to understand their specific goals, whether it's improving energy efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, or streamlining operations.
Coordinate with the product team to align client needs with our solution features and suggest customizations where necessary.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the hospitality sector.
Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, contributing to overall company growth.
Manage and update the sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and progress reports.
Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure
Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms for both AltoTech and our hotel clients.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams for seamless contract finalization.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to successful implementation.
Post-Sale Engagement and Account Management
Ensure smooth handover to the implementation team for successful project execution.
Maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Gather and communicate client feedback to drive our solution's continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience, ideally in hospitality tech or similar industries.
Deep understanding of hotel operations, property management systems, and current industry challenges.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Experience with consultative selling approaches in complex, long B2B sales cycles..
Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences within the hospitality sector.
Tools
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
Language
Fluency in Thai is required; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
Required Skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities tailored to hotel operations and guest experiences.
Strong negotiation and closing skills for high-value, tech-driven deals.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling narratives around technology adoption in hotels.Ability to create professional presentations and proposals for hospitality decision-makers.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of hotel organizations, from property-level management to C-suite executives.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
