Web Dashboard Insights

The heart of this transformation lies in the web dashboard, offering real-time insights into the building's energy dynamics. It vividly displays the current power usage from the grid and solar production, with solar contributing a significant 58.4% to the day's energy needs. Operating seamlessly in Self-Driving or Manual mode, the dashboard integrates additional data on weather conditions, temperature, air quality index, and energy consumption patterns over time. Notably, the Energy Performance Indicator (EnPI) is a prominent absentee, emphasizing a focus on real impact over mere metrics.

Savings and Carbon Footprint

Graphs and gauge charts provide a visual narrative of the building's energy use, underscoring the prominent role played by solar energy. Savings from solar are quantified, and the carbon footprint is translated into tangible terms – CO2 emissions and the equivalent number of trees needed for absorption.

AI-Driven Energy Optimization

The brain behind this sustainable marvel is an AI-driven system that harnesses machine learning to monitor and predict energy demand. This system not only prevents excess consumption but also adapts HVAC operations for energy efficiency based on occupancy detection. The self-driving VRV system, fueled by IoT data, ensures real-time thermal comfort by optimizing HVAC settings. Simultaneously, the ERV system adjusts ventilation based on CO2 levels and occupancy data, maintaining air quality while conserving energy. The seamless integration of these technologies ensures a comfortable indoor environment while significantly reducing energy use and the building's carbon footprint.

Sustainability Certifications & Standards

The DEDE building stands proud with certifications reflecting its sustainability prowess. Compared to the SmartScore Standard, Altotech has propelled the building to a Certified level, achieving high scores in categories like Health and Wellbeing, Sustainability, Maintenance and Operation, Building Systems Interoperability, and Building Data Management.

Benchmarking against the BEC Standard showcases remarkable achievements. The energy use intensity (EUI) stands impressively low at 38 kWh/m².yr, well below the ZEB threshold of 57 kWh/m².yr. Moreover, Alto Altopilot technology has contributed to a remarkable 14% energy saving, demonstrating the practical impact of Altotech's state-of-the-art solutions.
